In Arlington, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Texas on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Arlington is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. First time trying Mr. Jimβs and well, I was looking forward to trying their pizza, but what ruined it for me was the long strand of light brown hair I found baked into the dough. Not sure if hairnets are a requirement when making their food, but in any establishment that handles food, I think it should be. Just sucks because it definitely ruined the moment, since I usually eat up to 4 slices of pizza, but I found the hair on my 2nd slice and that was it for me. Also, itβs not a big pizza for their large and at $20, yah, itβs way overpriced especially after the experience I had. So yah, we ended up throwing the rest of the pizza away, since that made us question how the rest of it was. And we wonβt be coming back for more of that.

This is my favorite place to order pizza from in the area. Consistently good food and fast delivery. I love adding on the seasoned crust.

We've gotten pizza here before and it's been good, but unfortunately last night that wasn't the case. Our pizza was supposed to come with extra cheese but didn't, and it was overcooked with a very thin chewy crust. We also ordered bread bites with the specific request that they be a little bit underdone but they came overdone. We love Mr. Jim's but this last order was a letdown.

Location is VERY small! However, the pizza is delicious!! Iβve ordered multiple times without disappointment. Iβve had the buffalo hot wings which are very hot, wasnβt my favorite. The cheese pizza is phenomenal. The BBQ pizza with chicken was good. I would recommend. Kids get free coloring book too. Er

Edit my review : We ordered a pepperoni pizza with 2x the pepperoni and a Detroit style pizza. The Detroit style was perfect, being from Detroit I found it quite close to what we have back home. The pepperoni pizza was burnt and thank you to Whomever answered the phone. He quickly stated that he will send another pizza back out to us quickly. When it arrived it was perfectly made. When the young man who handed it off to us didnβt even speak didnβt say thank you sorry for the other pizza. My mother-in-law spoke to him he did not speak. He just simply Handed her the pizza and walked off like he had an attitude and normally she orders when sheβs in town for the kids and I did state to them that my kids have autism and that they are very funny about their pizza. The pizza was burnt and you can tell the difference when I post the photos, but Iβm not sure why the young man was mad that he had to bring another pizza. I think you should check the quality of the pizzas before you send them out. It did not have two times the pepperoni. It was extremely burnt in our new pizza didnβt have the garlic butter placed on the crust, but that was no biggie. The new pizza was not burned so we were h
